our coaching philosophy

A FOREWARD BY JASON DICK...

Before I let you know what we do and how we do it, I feel you need to know WHY we do what we do.

Our WHY is the belief that making a physical transformation is so much more than just a change in appearance and performance. We know what it does for the mind and the soul, not to mention how it affects everyone around us, inspiring and creating ripples which affect others in the most positive ways. Health breads happiness.

For me, learning the difference between strength and "fitness" changed my life. It changed my body, my confidence, my mindset and it taught me a lot about life.

You see "fitness" is a superficial term thrown around to represent how you show up on the outside, regardless of how you're story is going on the inside.

Strength on the other hand is principle focused. Principles unlike methods or strategies, are forever and cannot be broken. There are no cheats or tricks to get strong quickly, just smart, hard work, consistently over time creates the results.

This understanding has taken me on a journey and taught me:

- Pain is a powerful teacher... if you stop long enough to listen to what it's trying to say.

- WHY you do what you do is equally as important as HOW and WHAT you do.

- The best things in life are worth working for and usually don't come quickly.

- To listen to my inner game more than the external spectators.

- Stop playing the victim and start taking ownership. "Earn it"

These are the lessons I've learnt from travelling the world, listening to some of the greatest minds challenge "traditional" methods for strength, movement & rehabilitation.

Having these experiences saved my life.

I turned down a dark path which didn't seem to have a light at the end. I was hopeless and helpless, asking all the questions, getting answers but no solutions. The only thing that kept me going was taking one little thing from every person I learned from and applying it to myself first, then to others, until I finally discovered the missing piece to my puzzle.

Being strong and healthy gave me purpose, to be a role model for those closest to me, and then to build other leaders who can influence those around them. I'm living proof that no matter what your past, your situation or how bad things were, you can make a choice to make a change and achieve unbelievable things.

Because of what it did for my life, and me, I have been passionate and purposefully helping others change their life through understanding health, strength, movement & rehabilitation. This is my passion, I use it as a vehicle for my true purpose; helping people live their happiest life.

And that starts with living pain free and strong.

I attend seminars, workshops and study as often as I can, constantly learning as I know the day I feel I know everything is the day I will not grow and become better. Our team does the same as I continuously challenge them to become the best they can be. We're in the trenches everyday training people, training ourselves and practicing what we preach, challenging ourselves first so we always know how it feels to be in your shoes and what it takes to break through the barriers holding people back.

I don't say any of this to impress you but rather impress upon you that we truly walk the walk and we're not just in it for a "job", we're in it for LIFE! We live it and breathe it everyday and it's not our job to help you but rather our mission. So one day, you can become a role model for the next generation.
